The luggage of three passengers is lost

Three Bulgarian consumers flew from Sofia to the US via Rome with an Italina aircarrier. They comlain about lost luggage. The consumers sent the required documents. After the procedure some one from service informed the consumers about the amount of compensation and the estimated term of payment by phone. Till now the C has not received compensation and no one responds to his attempts to get in contact with them. After the intervention of ECC-Net the case was sent to mediation and the passengers received a total of 2 600 euro compensation.

    Later, the passengers were informed that the alternative flight was also cancelled. Assistance related to providing food, beverages, opportunity for two telephone calls, according to Directive 261/2004 was not provided to the passengers and information for the next possible flights was not offered to them.

    The flight was first announced delayed but then the airport was closed and the flight cancelled.
