European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders and Bogdan Bogdanov, Minister of Economy and Industry, opened a Consumer Dialogue, which took place on 15 February in Sofia. It brought together representatives of national enforcement authorities, and consumer and trade organisations.
The event was organized by the European Commission alongside the Ministry of Economy and Industry.
“Consumer Dialogues” in the EU Member States are initiatives designed to facilitate discussions on how close cooperation and partnerships at the European and national levels can achieve faster and more sustainable results. These events aim to engage with national law enforcement authorities and other stakeholders to gather their input. The theme of the Consumer Dialogue in Bulgaria was “Consumer Protection in the Green Transition and in the Digital Era – Opportunities and Challenges”.
